Professional Roger Broad

Email Roger

The Head Professional at Stocksbridge Golf Club is Roger Broad. He started the game at the tender age of 12 at Thorne Golf Club, where he was a junior member for six years.

He started his professional life as an assistant to Vivien Saunders, at Abbotsley Golf Club (near St. Neots, Cambridge). After nearly two years there and being busy with golf schools, Roger decided to move back to more local ground. He worked at a driving range in Rotherham, and after a few years as a teaching professional he joined Eric Clarke at Grange Park golf course. Here he took part in the general running of the golf club and looked after at the needs of all members, and of course was busy teaching all standards of golfers from beginners to Professionals.

He joined the team at Stocksbridge in August 2002 and offers members and non members teaching on the full range of skills.
One hour and half hour coaching sessions are available along with video analysis of the golf swing.
There is a very well stocked shop with a large range of Ping and Taylor Made clubs
